Residents had a wonderful November, participating in a variety of activities! They attended “Lincoln & Thanksgiving,” a presentation given by Kevin Wood, an amazing Abraham Lincoln portrayal actor, at the Sauk City Public Library. Children from Calvary Baptist Church in Sauk City came to The Pines to perform a delightful Thanksgiving Day program. To commemorate Veterans Day, local VFWs held a Veterans Day service and honored each campus veteran and Lindsey Giese, Executive Director of River Arts, Inc. sang the National Anthem. Both assisted living and memory care residents enjoyed making creative Thanksgiving crafts to display in their room. Pine Glen Apartments held a successful Red Cross Blood Drive. Lastly, folks attended a Christmas Cantata at First United Church of Christ. Wow! What a busy and fantastic month it was! Thanks to all who shared their time and talents with us.
