The Annual Pines Easter Extravaganza, a special event for campus friends and families, was held on Saturday, March 24th. First and Second Grade students from Bridges Elementary who visit with the seniors multiple times during the year were also invited to the event. The fun day started off with an exhilarating egg hunt and the children had a wonderful time searching for them. The Roxbury Boosters 4-H Club once again assisted with most of the other activities – temporary tattoos, cupcake decorating, an Easter craft, serving refreshments, and a live bunny for petting! Everybody also enjoyed a hug and high-five from the life-size Easter Bunny. Residents love being able to watch their own children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, along with children from the community, participate in this amazing event within the comfort of their own environment. Many thanks to all who joined in on the festivities, and to all who made it such a great success! To view photos, please click on the web album.
