April started off with a fabulous Easter Bonnet Contest for Pine Glen tenants! There were definitely some grand entries! And speaking of hats, Pines folks celebrated April Fool’s Day with silly hats and “True or Foolery” stories. Thank you to Agrace hospice staff member Mary for bringing in some adorable baby chicks, and to the Roxbury Boosters 4-H Club for helping pot up pansies. Lots of signs of spring! Folks took the bus to check on bird friends and area storm damage, and to attend a St. Aloysius musical and the final concert of the River Arts season. They also welcomed visits from Bridges Elementary School first graders and the DISSO Brass Quintet and String Ensemble. April is Volunteer Appreciation Month, so staff put together a thank you party to celebrate our dedicated volunteers. To view photos, please click on the web album link below.
