February might be the shortest month of the year, but there was no shortage of engaging activities. Murphy and his sweet human, Kathy, paid us a visit, as did Volunteer Peggy. She leads a weekly Reading & Reminiscing Group and always has something fun and interesting to share. Some of the ladies created handmade cards to share with their neighbors for Valentine’s Day. Judy loves to make paper airplanes, so her wishes arrived via airmail! Thank you to all the staff, families and community friends who sent cards and gifts for folks. You made the day so very special! Bahama Bob and his steel drum puts everyone in a tropical mood, and balloon bowling and other large muscle activities improve bending, balance and upper body strength. Plus they’re fun! The month ended with a lovely scenic drive and a concert by “By Request Quartet”. To view photos, please click on the web album link below.
