The lazy, hazy days of July were busy with what makes summer special. Folks took a lovely bus trip by familiar spots in the area, like Frank Lloyd Wright’s Taliesin and The House on the Rock. On a beautiful day, they stayed active by playing Ladder Ball on the patio. Assisted living folks enjoyed a rousing game of balloon tennis. There were milestone birthdays to celebrate, lovely handicraft projects to make and trishaw rides to take around town. Near the end of the month, both Pines and Pine Villa hosted Family Western Cookouts. There were great turnouts at both, and everyone enjoyed delicious food, great music by country singer Maggie Mae, and precious time with their loved ones.
