There was much to be thankful for in November. One of the highlights was honoring our resident veterans on Veterans Day. Thank you so much to members of the Sauk Prairie VFW and the Sauk Prairie High School show choir for putting on a wonderful program, and to Miles, who read his great-grandfather’s account of WWI. You all made the day very special! Folks took the bus for a lovely scenic drive to Durwood’s Glen near Baraboo, and for a trip to the Sauk Community Center for a rousing game of bingo with prizes. A big thank you to RA Cora who made yummy Thanksgiving sugar cookies for Pine Villa folks as a school service project. They brought lots of smiles. The Pines Baking Group also had cookies on their mind, making delicious carrot cake cookies with cream cheese frosting.
